For the last game before the winter break Dunfermline City 2s welcomed Edinburgh 4s to Queen Anne with both teams knowing a win could take them to top of the league.
Both sides attacked their respective goal well but a string of defencive errors cost City a 3-0 lead going into half time.
City quickly closed the defecate in the second half with a well taken goal from Vince Shipley. City were then denied their second with a goal chopped off and a penalty miss also but they kept there heads up and were rewarded with a goal by Gareth Edwards. with the score at 2-3 City bombarded the opposition goal but were again made to pay by another defencive error as Edinburgh restored their two goal advantage. City were to peg back the lead with Vince Shipley grabbing his second of the afternoon only frustratingly to conceded straight after. Gareth Edwards got his second of the afternoon in the last minute but it was to prove nothing more than a conciliation as Edinburgh took all three points back across the Forth with the game finishing 4-5.
