The annual City festive bash at The Glen Tavern saw over 40 members, friends and family enjoying the festive hospitality.

City prepared for their Xmas dinner tonight - with a fighting performance against a youthful Stirling side.   City lined up with stalwart ginger keeper Murray in goals (who had forgotten his shorts and top - so played without them), Skipper Swinton at RB (with two black socks), Grandad to be McInally at Sweeper, moaner Edwards at CH, and steady Kenny Buttercase at left back.

Training has been cancelled tonight due to the pitch being frozen.

Stirling Uni have postponed the fixture between themselves and City this weekend as a result of the pitch at Stirling being shut.  The game will be rearranged in the new year.

Both City's matches have been postponed this weekend due to a frozen pitch after the overnight sleet/snow.....hopefully back in action next weekend.

Dunfermline City headed over to Meggetland on Saturday to take on Edinburgh Colts.  This was a much anticipated encounter as Edinburgh Colts have been the only team to beat City in the league in there short history.

Dunfermline city 2s vs Edinburgh 4s The City 2 made the trip to the excellent sporting facility Meggatland to face Edinburgh 4s. Both teams searching for their first win of the season. Captain Robbie Swinton had a neck spasm early morning and Gareth Edwards was brought in on loan from the 1s as cover.
